Pseudoku

I looked around for a comic that anyone else had made with the same joke, and I didn’t find any, so I figured it was safe to post this.

Hello… I found this webcomic through your signature on dA after a comment on a deviation that was posted in several groups of which I am a member and long story short, everything here is very funny. Although I’m not entirely sure I get the joke in this one. Would you be so kind as to explain it to me?

    Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚

Okay, cool! Glad to know the link is working. ๐Ÿ˜‰

To get this one, you need to know two things:
      1. Sudoku is a number game that originated in… Japan, I think (someone correct me if I’m wrong) that involves placing numbers on a 9×9 grid, and
      2. The prefix pseudo- essentially means “sort of”, or “imitation”.

So this comic shows what the prefix pseudo attached to sudoku would look like. Glad you like the site! ๐Ÿ˜€

Ahh, okay, now I feel like a bit of an idiot. Of course I know what a sudoku is (heck, I do them every day), and what “pseudo-” refers to, I was just afraid that there was some deeper meaning I wasn’t getting. But there isn’t… this is good. ๐Ÿ˜›

And of course… how could you NOT love a wordplay webcomic? ๐Ÿ˜€

xD OK, great! It’s usually pretty safe to assume people know what sudoku is, but you never really know for sure.

And, beats me. That’s why I make it. ;D
